Angels To The Rescue (Conclusion)

The sirens signaled the arrival of the police and rescue personnel who took control of the scene. My neighbor, a pediatric nurse for our local hospital, rode with the mother and child in the ambulance. As a witness, the police asked me to give a statement. I recalled that the  two men were tall, with a slender build, olive skin tone, simply dressed, and appeared with no vehicle in sight. I told the police how they removed the women and her daughter with ease, not needing any tools or other assistance. Later that evening my neighbor who rode in the ambulance called to tell me that they were fine, and would be released from the hospital the next day. You may never know when you might meet an angel. I can say that, that day I met two.
