On a crisp, sunny Saturday, my daughter and I were walking on the shoulder of the road toward the creek in our neighborhood , where we planned to collect rocks for her school project. As we approached the intersection, just before the creek, two SUV’s collied in the intersection . Both vehicles flipped, one landing upright, and the other came to rest on its roof. I didn’t have my phone, so my daughter ran back to the house to call 911.
The driver of the upright SUV appeared to be fine, and got out without assistance. But in the vehicle that was resting on its roof, I could see that the driver was hanging upside down in the seat, being held in place by the seat belt and moving wasn’t. There was also a child in the back seat of the SUV, hanging upside and screaming.
