This is the PC conversion of Silent Hill, which is one of the most (if not THE MOST) scariest games you’ll ever play.
The story starts out pretty ordinarily. A thirty-two year old writer Harry Mason, along with his seven year old daughter Cheryl
is heading for vacation. Suddenly a young woman runs in front of the vechicle. Not wanting to hit her, Harry rapidly turns as a result hitting the railing surrounding the town "Silent Hill". After regaining his conciousness, he notices that Cheryl has disappeared and almost immediately begins to search for her. However, after leaving the car, he feels that something is wrong.
The lack of any signs of life, the omniscient fog and abnormal, for the current time of year, snow. All this seems at strange to say the least. From the far distance someone’s steps are audible, when Harry goes to check this out, he spots his daughter, or rather her silhouette in the thick fog. He tries to catch her attention but in vain, with each and every of his steps his daughter is further and further from him, finally turning walking into running which ends in a small street where
Run "Silent Hill.exe" to play with the keyboard.
